Spokesperson for the three NRMA Branches and JTS, Dianna Thompson, said this year’s donations will be going to St Vincent de Paul who distribute food and toys to our local families in need within the Wauchope, Port Macquarie and Laurieton region.
“Our NRMA offices in Wauchope, Port Macquarie and Laurieton are collection points for donations of new toys and non-perishable food items such as tinned foods, Christmas cakes and puddings and Christmas treats to make up hampers for these needy families by mid December,” she said.
“All our staff contribute too. This is about encouraging everyone making a small donation. Over the years we have received tremendous support from our local customers, as well as local businesses in the Hastings and Camden Haven area.
“Last year was again a huge success with the biggest collection we have had yet due to the generosity of our local community. The local generosity is absolutely amazing. These hampers have been gratefully received by our nominated charities each year” Dianna said.
If you can help NRMA staff support this wonderful annual Christmas Appeal, please drop your donations into one of the above NRMA offices by noon Tuesday 18th December 2018
