Fire and Rescue NSW Wauchope will have two of their main trucks, plus an old vintage Bedford, each with a Santa on board, giving out sweet treats all around the streets of our town.
Because Wauchope is getting bigger, the Rural Fire Service has come on board again this year, to lend a hand with areas like Riverbreeze.
“We will set the sirens off at 2pm on Saturday December 22,” said Deputy Captain Mark Platts.
“We will be throwing lollies out and the kids will come running out of their houses to catch them, and to see Santa. It’s a bit of magic for the children during the Christmas holidays,” he added.
