On January 18, South Kempsey will feature the game between Nulla and Rovers. It will be the first of three three games for Nulla and they will want 2019 to be positive.
Rovers had many players involved in junior rep carnivals last weekend and these youngsters will want to show their ability. Playing is what they have been doing and Nulla will need to be at their best.
On January 19 we have three games hitting off at 12.30pm in Port Macquarie and Taree.
At Chatham Oval United and Wauchope play. United had a win and a loss last week while Wauchope had two losses. Both teams will want that winning feeling. Both have plenty of firepower and the bash will be on.
The Taree West against Wingham game has been decided with Taree West forfeiting due to a lack of available players. This puts Wingham into the final to represent the southern conference.
Macquarie will be home at Wayne Richards Oval against Nulla. Josh Hyde and his team are starting to stretch themselves back into positive form, a win here will almost certainly see them in the final.
Nulla will know if they won Friday and win here, then they are close to that final position.
Over at Oxley Oval, Rovers visit to play Port City Leagues Magpies. It is a double-header for Magpies, and they want to erase thoughts of last week’s loss.
Rovers should be at full strength and we will see a game of young Rovers up against a very experienced Magpies.
In the 4pm slot, we have one game at Oxley Oval with Magpies playing Nulla. Depending on other results, Nulla could make the final, either way they will want to showcase their talent against a Magpies team that is so up and down, but equal to any team on their day.
