Congratulations to the Huntingdon Public School relay team who won at the Lower North Coast Swimming Carnival and will now move on to the North Coast.
They are Max Troth, Jarvis Ring, Flynn Trommels and Ashwin Nath.
The school did well at the 2019 Small Schools Swimming Carnival on Wednesday February 6.
"Our students participated with a strong sense of team spirit and a positive attitude and were proud representatives for our school," said principal Peta Harris.
"We had a wonderful representation from our parents and community as well, with a large number of parents assisting on the day to help the carnival run smoothly and to schedule. Well done, Huntingdon."
Huntingdon students achieved many successes at this carnival including being named champion school and our relay team winning. They also had a number of students achieve age champion:
- Flynn Trommels – Junior Boy Champion
- Emilie Luke – Junior Girls Champion
- Ashwin Nath – 11 Yr Boys Champion
- Jarvis Ring – Senior Boys Champion
As a result of the success at the Small Schools Swimming Carnival, 11 students qualified for the Hastings/Camden Haven PSSA Swimming Carnival. Once again, our relay team won their race and moved through to the Lower North Coast Swimming Carnival to represent our school, where they won again.
"Congratulations to Max Troth, Flynn Trommels, Ashwin Nath and Jarvis Ring on the achievement. We would like to thank Kylie Salm for the support that she has given our relay team through organising extra training and coaching sessions," said Ms Harris.
