Sonia Lee Smith will be hosting one from Rocks Ferry Reserve to the Mick Brabant Memorial Oval on Hastings Street in Wauchope from 11am to 1.30pm.
"It would be wonderful to have some local helping hands. Anyone wishing to join should come prepared with sun cream, hat, water to drink and gardening gloves for safety. Feel free to bring kids and a picnic lunch," she said.
Wauchope Lions will also operate a Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday March 3, starting at Yippin Creek park at 8am.
Members of the public are invited to join with Lions for the clean-up, which usually lasts a few hours but volunteers may work for a shorter period.
"You are advised to bring gloves, hat, sun screen and strong shoes. Lions will provide a free BBQ at completion of the clean-up. So please come and help tidy our town," said a spokesman.
This is another community based Lions project.
