SEVEN days after scoring his first try in two years, Wauchope five-eighth Nick McCabe slotted a 77th minute field goal to lift his side to a heartstopping 29-28 win over Wingham.

The Blues then held on for dear life in the final minutes of the match as the Tigers pressed their line following an error from the kick-off.
Coach Anthony Boyd admitted if there was anything that could go wrong in the second half for his side it did, although their resilience shone through.
"We only completed four sets in the second half so we brought it on ourselves; it was horrible," he said.
"It was ugly, but when you win ugly that's the main thing.
"They were all fundamental errors; dropping the ball in the play-the-ball, kicking out on the full and it wasn't just one player.
"It got infectious and spread through the whole side."
The win kept the Blues in second spot on the Group 3 rugby league ladder after two rounds and it wasn't all doom and gloom.
They had patches of "good footy" in attack which gave Boyd the confidence his team could put on a score in coming weeks if they kept at it.
"We played patches of good footy but then we played patches of terrible footy," he said.
"Our attack was really good; every time we got in good ball we looked like putting points on so if we can earn that right over the course of the season I think we'll put some scores on."
Wauchope's goal-line defence was the most pleasing aspect of the win - Wingham had plenty of chances.
"Our goal-line D improved dramatically on last weekend," Boyd said.
"I believe we were the superior and dominant side in the first half, but it just didn't show on the scoreboard."
