Hastings baseball season starts with Easter carnival

Hastings Baseball will kick its 2019 season off with its annual Hastings Baseball Easter Carnival to be held at Blackbutt Park at Peppermint Crescent in Wauchope.

Seven teams from Sydney, the Gold Coast and two local teams will contest this long held and loved weekend of baseball.

The action gets underway on Good Friday April 19 from 12.30pm to 6.30pm.

On Easter Saturday, the day will start at 8am and finish at 6.30pm. Easter Sunday will again start at 8am with the final starting at 2.45pm. All are welcome to come and watch. There is no entry fee for spectators. The Wauchope Lions Club will be operating the canteen selling tasty BBQ treats to keep everyone fed.

Also on Saturday morning April 20, the club will be taking registrations for our up coming Junior season . Which starts on the May 5. It's a great opportunity for potential players to come out and watch a game or two of the Seniors playing in the Easter Carnival. A further registration will take place at Sportspower Gordon Street Port Macquarie on Saturday April 27 from 9am to 11am .

Hastings Baseball Senior Competition starts also on May 5 with four teams making up the comp in each of A and B grades. There are a couple of teams that are still open for players.
