The 44th Port Macquarie Easter Art Exhibition got underway on Wednesday at Hamilton Green on Hastings River Drive.
The exhibition features over 200 pieces, carries $3300 in prize money. Artists are encouraged to leave their works as part of an on-going exhibition.
The event is hosted by the Port Macquarie Art Society and Port Macquarie News is a major sponsor.
Organiser Maureen Cooke says the public is invited to the official opening with admission $15 or $10 for exhibiting artists.
The exhibition is open each day from 10am until 6pm, closing at 4pm on Tuesday April 23. The exhibition is then open on restricted days and hours each Tuesday and Thursday 9am until 11.30am and 1pm until 3.30pm and Sundays from 9am until noon.
