Wauchope, Laurieton and Port Macquarie stations will be on duty for tours of the station, equipment shows and talking about their daily call outs from 10am to 2pm this Saturday, May 18.
Members of the public can also expect live demonstrations, station activities, safety presentations, gift packs for kids, fire safety information and sausage sizzles.
In Wauchope, it's a great chance chance to see firefighting demonstrations, look at hazardous material and rescue equipment, and to talk to the experts about home fire safety in the lead up to winter.
One of the important messages is that nothing should be closer than a metre from the heater. Another is keep looking when cooking.
There will be a sausage sizzle by Wauchope Lions Club and a look around the station and the trucks.
