The way people want to receive information is constantly changing, and we are spoilt for choice on all the options.
Some of us like the traditional way of receiving news via radio bulletins and newspapers, while others prefer online methods such as through the internet, social media and smart phones.
Staying up to date and improving how we communicate with our growing community continues to be a focus for council, and we want to hear from you about the types of information you'd like to receive from us and how you'd like to receive it.
Whether it's learning about upcoming projects like road upgrades near your place, opportunities to 'have your say' on projects or finding out about community events, there's always lots of council news to learn about.
Maybe you enjoy the project snapshots that we provide with your rates newsletter, prefer to get real-time updates on what we're up to through our Facebook page, or read about council news in the local newspaper.
If you have some thoughts on what, how, when and where we communicate with you, then please let us know so that we can continue to improve and provide you with the information you want, when you want it.
It's important that everyone in our community has the chance to access council information in ways that suit them, so I encourage everyone to take 5 minutes to share your thoughts.
The survey is open to everyone and closes on Sunday, May 26, with all survey submissions going into a draw to win one of three $100 restaurant vouchers. So you only have the rest of this week to submit your survey.
You can complete the survey online at haveyoursay.pmhc.nsw.gov.au/communications or you can drop into one of our customer service offices in Wauchope, Laurieton or Port Macquarie, pick up a form and drop it back to the office or fill it in there.
