The Wauchope side lost 9-0 to the table-topping Port United in round 11.
Wauchope has a great chance to bounce back with the Tigers sitting just five points above the local side on the competition ladder.
However, standing in the road of a Wauchope win are the Tigers who still, mathematically, have a chance of playing semi final football.
Wauchope needs a win or a draw or at least a better showing in this clash.
In the remaining Premier League games on the weekend, Kempsey will host a local derby between the Saints and Macleay Valley rangers at Eden Street.
The fifth placed Saints will be looking to close the gap on their cross town rivals who sit fourth on the ladder.
The Port Saints will travel south to Omaru Park to take on the Taree Wildcats.
The Saints need the win to remain five points behind Port United at the top, whilst the Wildcats are looking to push into the top five.
And at Boronia Park in Forster, Wallis Lake will go up against the Camden Haven Redbacks.
The Lakies have found a run of form and now sit in third place.
Port United will enjoy the bye.
The competition ladder:
Port United 31; Port Saints 26; Wallis Lake and Rangers 22; Kempsey Saints, Taree Wildcats and Camden Haven Redbacks 14; Tuncurry Forster 8; Wauchope SC 3.
