A 1919 Mack truck Model AC, which led the parade, is a piece of Mack history and a monument to the model's durability.
Working trucks, historic trucks, engines, vintage cars and tractors are among the displays at Wauchope Showground during the two-day event.
The show's vintage truck organiser, Kirby Maxwell, said people loved old trucks.
"The old trucks are better than the new ones," he said.
"They last longer and you can fix your own truck up if they break down."
The Mack truck is the event's feature vehicle.
Mayor Peta Pinson opened the show on Saturday, July 13.
The Wauchope Yesteryear Truck and Machinery Show continues on Sunday, July 14.
Proceeds from the event are distributed to local charities.
