He will visit on July 26.
In Buddhism, fear is said to be one of the fundamental causes of finding refuge in the Buddha, his teachings and the supporting community.
But negative fear can become the cause of all stagnation and hopelessness.
Fear and anxiety stems from the misconception of body, experiences, events and emotions as self, and grasping to them as real and permanent.
The antidote to fear and anxiety is wisdom and compassion. In this talk, he will teach us how to overcome fear and anxiety through a sane, logic and clear mind.
Rinpoche has been coming to the area for nearly 20 years giving spiritual guidance to the local Buddhist community and giving public talks such as this so that non Buddhists can benefit from Buddhas wisdom.
The evening is starting at 7pm in the Port Yoga Studio 172 Pacific Drive Port Macquarie. There is a cost involved.
For information on the public talk and the meditation retreat held at Wauchope on July 27 and 28 contact Peter Morgan on 0409 928 658.
