For the last term students have been working on projects with the theme 'Is everything is better than it use to be?' and on August 12, the students will showcase their work at Panthers, Port Macquarie.
Science teacher Nettie Riethmuller said the idea behind the projects was to get students to think about changes and improvements to technology.
"This year we are asking students to pick a piece of technology and look at how it has changed over time," Ms Riethmuller said.
"It can be cars or mobiles or whatever they want, they just have to have a curiosity to want to learn more about the piece of technology they use.
"The students will be judged on their creativity and how they present their data to their audience."
The presentations will form a Science Techno Museum and people will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite between 11.30am and 5pm.
The Techno Museum is an activity being conducted as part of Australian National Science Week with support from the Australian Science and Mathematics School.
"The projects will be on display all day and we will have primary school students from Huntington to Telegraph point to the Camden Haven come and look at the projects," she said.
"It is a chance for the younger students to share in the excitement of science and get them keen to do the same thing in high school.
"We are inviting members of the public to come and have a look at the projects as the students have been working incredibly hard on them.
