Mid-North Coast camping fans are travelling from across the region to see more than 175 exhibitors on show for the 20th birthday of the event at Wauchope Showground from August 9 to 11.
Caravans and camper trailers are packed into the Showground bumper to bumper as families, couples and active retirees seek a bargain and adventure.
Pembroke residents Rodney and Florence Clayworth said it is interesting to see the evolution of caravan technology.
"There's plenty of things to look at," said Mr Clayworth.
"It just shows you how much caravans have changed over the years.
"Now we are looking at better fridges and similar designed vehicles with varied layouts."
North Haven residents Cheryl and Stephen Patterson said the event is a real eyeopener about the outdoor adventures.
"The show has done a great job of bringing all the products and information together," said Mr Patterson.
"There's a larger range than just going to one place.
"Great advice and good to have in our backyard (a short drive from North Haven).
"We've picked up tons of tips. It's very affordable and definitely worth coming."
Highlights continue on Sunday including the Australian Travelling Fishing with fish lure demonstrations, Reptile Awareness shows with Allan Burnett and stunts from the Flair Action Sports Bike Riders.
