Dad Kodi is a Wauchope Blues senior coach and said Hayne has literally grown up with the Blues in the sheds and believes he is their number one fan.
"He sings Go the Blues, yeah, yeah, yeah, around the house and he is always doing the big boys stretches" Kodi said.
"He spends most of the weekend with the Blues during the season and loves getting in the sheds.
"Win or lose he also gets really cranky if we don't go back to the pub after the game with the boys.
"His favourite players are Tristan Scott and Brayden Stubbs and he cheers for them from the sidelines."
The Wauchope Blues are in the Group 3 grand final against the Macleay Valley Mustangs on Sunday, August 25 and Kodi said Hayne is ready.
"He is still too young to actually play but we have bought him the smallest jacket, jumper and shorts and we still have to tie them up so he can wear them," he said.
"But honestly he never takes them off.
"Especially since we made the grand final we has been running around the house singing the Blues' song more than ever.
"Everyone knows Hayne and how much he loves footy.
"Apart from being in the shed with the guys he probably loves the canteen ladies.
"At games he runs up to them and they give him lollies which he absolutely loves."
