Lions have manned hot food stalls at several recent public school sporting events and raised over $2000, which has been donated to Wauchope Public School. Lions also donated funds to support the deaf aid camp conducted through this school.
In addition Lions supported St Joseph's Primary School with a chip day and Lamington drive and support of their upcoming fair.
Lions also continued its long term support of Wauchope High School, by donating funds towards Captains blazers and end of term awards.
On Friday August 30, Lions members were pleased to conduct a breakfast at Wauchope Showground and present $500 to the Starlight Foundation, a group that assist the welfare of sick children.
"As always Wauchope Lions thanks all those people who support Lions and our efforts and allow us to help our community," said president, Jim Munro.
