Since 2014, the team has built one of the best residential resorts in NSW. Not only have they won a clutch of awards, but they've also been setting a new benchmark for quality and style for over 55's living.
"We aimed to help our community be fulfilled, happy and busy during their retirement years," says Sarah.
"It really is our residents who have fostered that within themselves, and it's been wonderful seeing them establish active lifestyles and building new friendships," she says.
With all that's available at the Resort, it's not hard to see why the community is thriving.
There are two pools, indoor and out, bowls greens and barbeque and picnic areas that are perfect for when the grandkids visit.
For a social evening, you can head to the clubhouse for a resident-led event or catch a movie in the plush theatre room.
There's even a craft room for when you are feeling creative.
If you enjoy golf, you're going to love living at Laurieton Residential Resort.
One of the best courses on the Mid North Coast has to be found at Kew Country Club and it's only a few minutes drive away. A group regularly schedule the community bus to enjoy a round there as well as jovial camaraderie.
Grant Orr and his wife Jaci moved to the Resort almost two years ago from Western Australia.
After retiring, they travelled the country for three years, but it was the region's temperate climate and proximity to the new hospital at Port Macquarie that proved a real drawcard.
Grant says that they have found the resort to be fantastic. "It's quiet, peaceful, secure and there are plenty of activities."
He often drives the community bus to the golf course, enjoys a game of bowls or snooker at the resort and is a member of the men's shed. With others from the Resort, he also volunteers for Iron Man.
"It can be hectic, but you can do as much or as little as you want," he says.
Now the project is nearing completion, only 18 new homes are remaining, including the most spacious models - the Hastings and the Hunter.
These homes have designer colour selections, a quality stone kitchen with ample storage, upgraded flooring, upgraded bathroom selections and a turn-key landscaped garden.
Unlike a retirement village, there are no exit fees or deferred management fees.
If you're looking to be in your new home before Christmas, brand new homes are available. You can move into a home with outstanding quality, design and of course all the superior finishes that come with the Resort's homes.
