The Wauchope Blues juniors are celebrating a massive year, after their 50-year celebrations, and the under-16s girls tackle team winning the first Group 3 tackle premiership.

Danny Marchment, president of the Wauchope Blues Junior Rugby League Football Club said the 50 year celebrations were a huge success, with great feedback from everyone who attended.
"We were able to raise money for the club, with funds going towards new training equipment for the 2020 season. We would like to thank everyone for their support," he said.
The year ended on a high with the club's under 16s girls tackle team winning the first group 3 tackle Premiership.
"The girls were undefeated all year," said coach, Whitney Smith.
"Our girls Under 16s League Tag finished minor and Major Premiers."
The Wauchope Blues JRLFC boys under 16s finished Major premiers and then won the Under 16s Group 2 vs Group 3 game.
"We are so proud of all our players but especially our Under 16s this year," said coach, Shane Cribb.
"It has been a very successful year for the club. We would like to invite anyone that is interested in being involved with he club to get in touch. We would love to see some new faces," said Danny Marchment.
