The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a property near Comboyne at about midday on Sunday, September 29 to treat the toddler.
On arrival, they found the child had severe burns to her face and upper body after a petrol water pump burst into flames.
She has been taken to the Westmead Children's Hospital in a stable condition.
