It will be the ninth year the event has been held in Port Macquarie at Westport Park. It returns on Friday, November 8, featuring Beauty and the Beast (2017).
Newcastle Permanent's Port Macquarie branch manager, Adam Power, said they were proud of what is now Australia's largest free outdoor cinema series.
"We know how much our community loves our Cinema Under the Stars events, and as a customer-owned organisation it's just one of the many ways we contribute to the communities that support us," Adam said.
"Last year we saw 33,000 people attend our events and we're expecting record numbers again this season with a fabulous night of family-friendly entertainment on offer."
The free event is set to feature the best of old and new family friendly movies for all ages to enjoy.
"Earlier this year we asked our Facebook followers to nominate their favourite films for this season and Toy Story 4 was tremendously popular.
"Fortunately the film is available for screening in time for our January 2020 events and in the meantime, we're excited to feature the real action remakes of Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, and a classic still in high demand, Home Alone, which we know will delight all ages."
Pre-movie entertainment including circus workshops, an inflatable football target and live music will keep the kids active and all ages entertained before the movie starts at sunset.
"We encourage everyone to come down from 5.30pm to settle in and relax with a picnic, enjoy the pre-movie entertainment and activities, and experience the magical atmosphere of watching a popular family film in the great outdoors," Adam said.
