The generous donation is the proceeds of the club's annual Friendship Morning at the Wauchope Country Club, which this year attracted more than 50 women.
Club President Marie Winter said the social bowls morning was a great way to introduce newcomers to the game of lawn bowls, and the perfect way to encourage women to be active and to make new friends.
"We ask our existing bowlers to invite friends and relatives to attend the annual social morning so they can get a feel for the game in a very relaxed atmosphere," Mrs Winter said.
"Bowls is a great way of getting people together, which is exactly what happens at our Friendship Morning.
"It also raises funds for our local hospital, so the doctors, nurses and other health professionals in the Rehabilitation Unit can continue their excellent care of patients who have had strokes, falls or who have an injury."
Mrs Winter thanked everyone who played on the day, and extended a special thank you to the women who provided the home-made morning tea and to the Wauchope Country Club which donated the green fees for the morning to the fundraising drive.
Rehabilitation Unit Nurse Manager Kate Williams thanked the Wauchope Women's Bowling Club and the Country Club for their ongoing support.
"I can't think of a better way to support your local community than to get friends and family together and introduce them to something fun while supporting patients who are working hard to get back on their feet after illness or injury," Ms Williams said.
"We have a wonderful Rehabilitation team here in Wauchope who do remarkable work with our patients.
"But we also know that team work includes our community, who works hard to ensure we have excellent equipment and comfort items that help our patients on their road to recovery.
"We are very grateful to the Wauchope Women's Bowling Club and the Wauchope Country Club for once again supporting our patients and their families."
