The highly-anticipated Christmas windows at Wauchope Department Store will be the draw card of the store's Christmas launch next Thursday night from 5pm to 7pm.
"We're ringing in the festive season with 20% off storewide, live music by Sing Australia, complimentary Cassegrain Wines and a competition to win a $100 shopping spree," manager Judy Standring said.
"There's even a letterbox so kids can post their wish list off to the North Pole."
The Department Store team has been busily working behind the scenes on the lavish window and in-store displays, which traditionally attract crowds from near and far.
"The Christmas displays have become a Wauchope tradition and we have people travelling from as far as the Macleay, Coffs Coast, Manning and Hunter valleys to appreciate them," Mrs Standring said.
"We pride ourselves on offering a unique shopping experience and I hope people of all ages will love what we've been working on. "I can't give away any hints, but each window has a different theme featuring intricate figurines, animated characters and sparkling colour."
Christmas celebrations at all three Hastings Co-op Department Stores - at Wauchope, Port Macquarie and Laurieton - will see the annual Christmas Sales Days on December 6 and 7 and extended trading hours on December 7, 14 and 21.
Wauchope Department Store will also be open from 9am to 1pm on December 22 for last-minute shoppers.
