The council says it understands that old habits die hard, so since Monday, they have had extra signs up and traffic controllers stationed on the Cameron Street intersection to make sure everyone is going in the correct direction and ensure everyone's safety.
This direction change will encourage the use of additional parking off High Street and improve circulation and intersection safety for commuters.
