A fun-filled afternoon was had by many bowlers for the Lairy Shirt/Top -Melbourne Cup eve of Twilight bowls on Monday, November 4.

"Thank you to the many visitors who joined in with us," said Wauchope Mixed Bowls president, Alan Edwards.
With music to bop and bowl to, the rink at Wauchope Country Club was full of colour and laughter.
Prizes were given to the Lairiest Shirt/Top, and the winner for ladies was Alison Fancourt and for gents, Don Berry topped the rest.
15 other prizes were given out through out the evening.
In addition, five sweeps were sold out, the winners will be announced next week at the club's regular Twilight bowls and also be printed in the Gazette newspaper.
"Thank you to all who helped to make this fun time: the Wauchope Gazette newspaper for promoting it, our local businesses around Wauchope for displaying posters, the staff of the Wauchope Country Club for their support and also to many others," added Mr Edwards.
