The Birpai tribe will be one of many tribes across Australia that will take part in Nation Dance, where Aboriginal people stand together in ceremony and healing and dance together on country as one at the same time.
The dance itself will begin at 1pm but preparations will start earlier.
Coordinator and Birpai dancer Jamie Donovan said the national event is a "sign of solidarity".
"The purpose is to for the first time in our history Aboriginal people around the country will come together at the one time to dance on country," he said.
"We pay respect to our elders past and present.
"We respect and honour our ancestor that have fought and died for us as people, this country and nation."
Mr Donovan said it is also an opportunity to "honour firefighters" who have protected the land over the last couple of weeks as unprecedented bushfires gripped the Mid-North Coast and "connect with mother earth".
The event will go live across social media.
