Five athletes from the school headed to Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre to compete in the NSW Primary Schools Sports Association state titles on November 7.
The Junior Boys Relay, consisting of Noah Langdon, Flynn McGovern, Luke Cannon and Flynn Daly, massively improved their time and only just missed out on getting in the semi-final, finishing an impressive 19th in the state.
Jai Jones competed in four AWD events finishing the meet with fantastic results of two 4th and two 5th places.
Flynn Daly ran a personal best time in the junior boys 200m and went into the 100m as the reigning bronze medallist. Flynn ran a personal best time in the heat, the semi-final and again in the final, leading to him finishing in 3rd place with a bronze medal in the 10 year boys 100m.
"Wauchope Public School is extremely proud of these boys and their excellent achievements," said school principal Cameron Osborne.
