Taree West took on Wingham at Johnny Martin Oval and were sent in by Ryan Morris. After their allotted 20 overs it looked like a good toss to win as the West could only scramble to 5/103.
Captain Dean Mills and fellow opener Jamie Hartland were the only two batsmen to really trouble the scorers finishing on 31 and 34 respectively. Wickets were evenly shared with Josh McTaggart the pick of the Wingham bowlers with 2/ 11 off his four overs.
But Wingham were then never really in the chase as wickets fell regularly to be bowled out for 79, with Mick Stinson top scoring with 23.

In the Taree local derby United were way too strong for Taree West
The West batted first and could only manage 69 with Josh Hartland 22 the only batsmen to offer much resistance. Sam Whitbread and Daniel Stone both took three wicket. United then knocked the runs off in 16.3 overs with the loss of only three wickets. Matt Collier top scored with 33.
Port City in their only game for the day took on Rovers and came out on top. Rovers batting first compiled a very good 9/150 with Jackson Korn top scoring with 41.
In a tense finish Port City won the game off the last ball and with only one wicket in hand. Best with the bat was Sean Minns with 34. Lachlan Munday picked up three wickets for Rovers.
Wauchope had mixed results on the weekend with 2nd grade red team picking up the points through a forfeit. 2nd grade blue continued their strong start to the season with a good win over Bonny Hills. Wauchope bowled out Bonny Hills in only 27 overs with Kade McKenna, Luke Holt and Aiden Groves picking up 2 wickets each. Chasing 93 to win Nigel McKenna made short work of it to smash a well compiled 65. Wauchope passed the total in the 17th over with the loss of only 3 wickets.
