They presented a huge box of toys to the Salvation Army in Wauchope to be distributed to 45 local families in need.
"Christmas is a time of celebration and togetherness, but for many it is also a time of hardship," said Hastings Co-op Chief Executive Officer, Allan Gordon.
He said it was an honour to hand over the toys.
"We hope these presents bring smiles to lots of children's faces and look forward to working with Salvation Army in 2020," added Mr Gordon.
