Berisha scored United's second goal on the stroke of halftime at Suncorp Stadium as the visitors claimed a smash-and-grab 2-0 win over Roar on Friday night.

It's the 34-year-old's fifth goal of the season and came after his double against his other former team Melbourne Victory the week before.

The strike also means Berisha now has 35 goals in 47 games at Suncorp Stadium.

"He deserved it. He was tired and sore from last week, I think emotionally he was really drained because he scored a brace against his old club," Rudan said.

"He loves it here. He knows the angles here.

"That second goal, his goal, was a fantastic finish. Not many in the league can do that. He had his moments and good players, quality players, pick their moments and he did that."

Berisha's form over the past two games has made a tense moment, when the striker stared down Rudan after being substituted during the loss to Central Coast last month, a distant memory.

Rudan emphasised there was no lingering animosity between him and the A-League's record goalscorer.

"Special guy. A bit was said a couple of weeks ago and it's good chat for you guys ... but I love the guy," he said.

"There was no issue between me and him either. He has to understand a little bit about his behaviours and what this football club is about as well."
