Four lion cubs have arrived at an open range zoo in South Australia after their first-time mum gave birth.

The cubs were born between Sunday evening and Monday morning to lioness Husani at Monarto Zoo.
Zoo staff have welcomed the addition to the pride as the species has been listed as vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
"While we are celebrating their safe arrival, it is also a time for reflection," zoo assistant curator Anna Bennett said.
"It is heartbreaking to know that the population of lions in the wild is in decline.
"It is imperative that breeding programs like the one at Monarto Safari Park exist because they are pivotal to securing the future of this beautiful species."
Before making a public debut, the lion cubs will remain in an off-limits private den with their mother while the family bonds.
