I spoke to someone in Port Macquarie-Hastings Council recently who said plans are in place to solve our current water issues.

Council cannot pump from the river when it is full of sediment.

Please confirm or deny that council had an opportunity to purchase a filtration system from overseas some years ago and as it was considered too expensive they did not pursue the project.

I worked on the construction and testing of the pipeline from the pumping station to Cowarra dam and the pipes are that big two men would struggle to join hands around them.

That was over 20 years ago.

Capacity and infrastructure are in place but we still can't pump.

PMHC can't keep passing development applications for new housing estates when you can't adequately supply essential services like water and sewerage.
