The celebration of local produce, which was scheduled for Friday, March 20, will now be staged on October 16.
Hastings Co-op chief executive officer Allan Gordon apologised for any inconvenience but said following government restrictions to safeguard the community's health and safety was paramount.
The state government has made an order which effectively bans public events with more than 500 people as one of the measures to protect the wider community against the coronavirus.
Twilight Tastings attracted about 1000 people in 2019.
The 2020 event has been rescheduled.
"We look forward to bringing you the fifth annual Twilight Tastings at Wauchope Showground on October 16 with more vendors, tastings and entertainment than ever before," Mr Gordon said.
Hastings Co-op's Twilight Tastings brings together local producers, live music, food and drinks, stalls and children's entertainment.
The event is all about locals coming together to try something new, chat with producers and enjoy exclusive Twilight Tastings deals at the same time.
