Council has been working hard in the last few weeks to ensure we're well placed to continue to deliver for our community.
Many of our office-based staff are now able to work from home.
This means there is little impact on the services we provide our community daily, including through our Customer Call Centre which remains open and ready to assist you.
As an essential service we're still open for business. Our priority is to continue to maintain and improve our roads, sewer, stormwater and other operational projects to keep our community safe, secure and moving forward.
As essential workers, you'll see two or more people working together on council projects. We've implemented a range of health and safety measures, as per the COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure the safety of our teams and the general public.
While our streets are quieter it's a good time for us to be getting on with the job. Delivering the upgrades to our iconic Coastal Walk, resurfacing Ruins Way and John Oxley Drive, and connecting a new sewerage scheme for the Telegraph Point community are some of our current projects.
With fewer people out and about we can continue these projects with minimal impact, and it assists our project timelines.
We're continuing to deliver for our community and are here to support you in this time of uncertainty.
We're continuing to deliver for our community
