It's National Water Week, which is a great time to think about how we can keep up our good water habits and how we can all contribute to saving water by continuing to reduce our use.

As recently as February we were in Level 4 'severe' water restrictions.
While we've had some good rain and our dams are currently nice and full, sadly there are still areas around the state that are experiencing drought conditions.
It is inevitable that our water storage levels will fall again in the future.
So, it's really important that we think now how we can all play our part in reducing our use, not only around the home, but also at work, and in our everyday lives while we are out and about.
During National Water Week,(every third week in October) council is asking you whether you can claim 'water legend status'.
We've enlisted some fun dog characters to help us to become a water legend.
There's 'Legendary Landon' who knows how precious water is, and he won't waste a drop.
'Give it a go Gertie' knows a few water saving moves, and isn't afraid to use them.
Or perhaps you're more like 'Forgetful Frankie' who would save water if only she could remember her water saving tips.
Hopefully you're not like 'Wasteful Walter' who uses water when and however he wants and doesn't see the problem.
To see what your legend status is drop onto our website, and take the water quiz.
We hope there's more Landons than Walters!
Did you know that on average we spend seven minutes in the shower?
That's a lot of water wasted, so we're recommending that you limit your shower to less than four minutes.
We have created a song wash challenge. You can download songs to shower (and sing) to that go for four minutes, so you will know when it's time to finish your shower.
So let's all use Water Week as an opportunity to rethink how we use water, and become 'Legendary Landons'.
