Club president Shane Debreceny says the club, which boasts about 80 members, has already knocked back over 200 nominations for the show.
All 637 pens at the club's Wauchope Showground headquarters are fully booked, he said.
"This will be our 50th consecutive show, although there were a couple of shows held earlier," he said.
"All 637 pens are booked and we've already turned away a couple of hundred entries.
"A lot of other shows are saying that their numbers are down, but every year we seem to be booked out.
"I guest that's a mixture of having good highway access and being a great breeding area," he said.
Entries have come from Mudgee, Central Coast and Coffs Harbour while judges are from Uralla, Wingham and Gloucester.
Mr Debreceny could not pinpoint why Wauchope had great success with nominations.
"A lot of judges that come here reckon we have the fowls they have ever judged.
I know we have really good stock around this area with very good breeders. And they like to pass on information and advice to our younger members too.

"I know we have really good stock around this area with very good breeders. And they like to pass on information and advice to our younger members too."
The club president said of the five members who started the club, at least two families were still involved.
Harley Cooke - whose name is on the club's sheds at the showground - has grandchildren and great grandchildren who have shown birds in the club's shows over the years.
While the Coombes family are also still part of the club.
Mr Debreceny said the club members always pitched in to ensure a show or event ran smoothly.
"Everyone gets involved and gets the job done," he said.
The Wauchope Poultry Club 50th anniversary show is at the Harley Cooke Pavilion from 9am until 2pm on Saturday June 22.
The dinner is in the ladies auxiliary rooms at the Wauchope Showground and bookings are still being taken.
