After last Friday’s incident on Pembrooke Road in which a woman died, structural repairs need to be carried out on the bridge to ensure the ongoing safety of motorists.

Work is scheduled for this Wednesday, September 19, between the hours of 9am and 3.30pm.
During this time, the bridge will be fully closed to traffic.
A detour for both northbound and southbound traffic will be via Telegraph Point Road on the Old Pacific Highway.
